WOW! Is the first word that came out of my mouth when I walked into Cloud Twelve.
This wellness and lifestyle club based in Notting Hill includes interactive play zone which is also highly educational, parent lounge, salon, spa, wellness kitchen and a wellness clinic with rooms named after the elements.
I felt like I had woken up in the sweetest dream as we wandered through the magical forest themed play area. For those who know me well, will know forest and green space is my thing! so to have this beautiful woodland play area set under a sensory ceiling was a dream come true.
The children immediately dashed off up the climbing wall away into the enchanted tree house, I was about to make a run after them, when I was told to relax "we have qualified professional play buddies to oversee the children" and immediately I felt at ease because as parents our sole purpose is to keep our children safe and happy. Under the roof of Cloud Twelve you can certainly see the extent that they have gone to, too keep the children safe.
The staff are incredible and go to great lengths to make sure your child feels seen and heard which is so important for children's communication development and self esteem.
There were a few parents working away on laptops in the parents lounge just off to the side of the magic forest play area whilst their little ones ran, played enjoying the classes and tree house. The brilliance of the concept hit me, what a phenomenal idea "Cloud Twelve is a third space between work and home"
After a good run around through the enchanted tree house, ball pit and sensory lady bug with never ending rabbit holes, we were ready for the kids disco which took place in the music room, disco lights and all the best tunes the kids were kicking it with style!
Lunching at the wellness kitchen which has a vegan/vegetarian menu and has been designed by the UK's top vegan chef! we enjoyed a variety of small dishes including pizza, sweet potato fries and smashed avocado with poached eggs on sourdough bread. Founded by herbalist & naturopath Jenya Di Pierro who also has designed her own brand of customised herbal infusions.
After lunch we joined the art class to promote relaxation and winding down time, preparing my little ladies to leave Cloud Twelve, of course this did not come without protest my eldest declared this should be her new school! We all had the most wonderful time.
I was offered a tour of the magnificent town house which I was eager to view, as I had heard about the spa and wellness clinic, especially being from a holistic spa back ground myself I wanted to see what all the fuss was about?! I was not disappointed.
Using products such as aveda, comfort zone, Gaia, Tri-Dosha and Kloris all brand partners promote natural beauty and sustainability. The facilities of the day spa are very impressive they include a couples suite, thermal and relaxation area, himalayan salt room and unique dolomites quartz beds I have never seen these before in a London spa! and I will certainly be booking myself in for delicious treatments. If you are a member creche service is included with your membership giving you time to have your treatments.
